Reports show that individuals with higher learning attainment are more likely to be employed and, on average, earn more. According to a study by the U.S. Census Bureau, an individual with a bachelor’s degree can expect to earn about $2.1 million over his or her lifetime, about $900,000 more than someone with just a high school diploma.
