Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is the first university in the System and the Commonwealth to offer a low-cost, affordable Bachelors of Applied Science degree to students with Applied Associate degrees.
The Technical Leadership program will provide graduates of Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) technical degree programs with a direct pathway to a baccalaureate degree. It is designed to offer technical professionals in the Commonwealth the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to not only go beyond their knowledge in their specific technical field but also to effectively assume technical supervisory or management roles. The degree’s focus on the leadership, supervision and management skills required in today’s high-technology work environment makes it an applied baccalaureate degree well suited for students with an A.A.S. degree.
Bloomsburg University offers this B.A.S. degree completion program by co-locating and offering the program through varied instructional delivery methods in partnership with a community college(s). The proposed methods include, but are not limited to, face-to-face and online.
