Starting in ninth grade, you should be taking courses which meet the following requirements:
Four years of Language Arts (English I, II, III, IV)
Three years of Math which incorporates the equivalent of Algebra I, Geometry and a third year course in either Algebra II, or a rigorous course based in Probability/Statistics. It is highly recommended that in your senior year you take mathematics or mathematical-based science.
Three years of Science which is the equivalent of Biology(with lab), Chemistry(with lab) and any combination of physics, engineering, environmental or earth science.
Three years of Social Studies which includes Civics, U.S. History, World History, Geography and Economics.
