Informational presentation and discussion of notifications of intent during Chief Academic Officers’ (CAOs’) meeting and distribution of copies to the group

Presentation and discussion during meeting immediately following submission

Approval/disapproval of program intent in writing from Academic and Student Affairs (ASA)

ASA response within 60 days

If intent is approved, preparation of proposal that covers the seven required program characteristics

ASA evaluation within 60 days

Preparation of revised/final version of proposal, if necessary

ASA response to revised/final version within 30 days

6

Inclusion of proposal in Board of Governors’ agenda

Board meeting immediately following finalization of the proposal
