About the Academic Passport

The Academic Passport will help ensure that you do not have to retake successfully completed college level courses  - unless you change your major or degree program.  If you are considering transferring from a Pennsylvania community college, Lackawanna College, or from one PASSHE university to another the Academic Passport makes the process easy. Only PASSHE universities can offer you this convenience, value, and commitment.

Eligibility

You are eligible to receive the Academic Passport if you have one of the following:

An Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree
from a community college in Pennsylvania or Lackawanna College,
with a minimum 2.0 grade point average in all coursework
and at least 30 credits of liberal arts courses

or

At least 12 college level credits
with a minimum 2.0 grade point average
at another PASSHE university

If you have earned at least 12 college level credits with a minimum 2.0 grade point average at one of Pennsylvania's 14 community colleges or Lackawanna College, and wish to transfer to a PASSHE university prior to obtaining the Academic Passport, you can still apply for admission and your liberal arts credits will be used to meet university lower division requirements.
