The System Relations Division in the Office of the Chancellor serves as a liaison between PASSHE’s central office and the Governor’s Office, state legislature, and federal government. 

The division also serves as a liaison with internal constituency groups such as the Pennsylvania Association of Councils of Trustees (PACT), the Board of Student Government Presidents (BSGP), and the State System Alumni Advocacy Council (SSAAC). 

The Office of Communications within the System Relations Division handles both internal and external communication with PASSHE’s key audiences. The main areas of responsibility include media relations, marketing, publications and web-based communications.
