Designing and Developing Effective Multidisciplinary Web-Based Blended Learning

Teaching in an e-learning age allows for the use of instructional technology to facilitate student learning with understanding. This session will demonstrate how several academic programs are integrating instructional technology into multidisciplinary web-based blended learning curriculum, with a focus on attainment of usable skills and takehome performance aids.

Fredrick Pociask, Rosanne DiZazzo-Miller
Dr. Pociask is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Pociask completed his PhD in Instructional Technology at Wayne State University in 2004, and his MS and BS in physical therapy at Oakland University (1996, 1990).
 
Dr. DiZazzo-Miller is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. DiZazzo-Miller received her bachelor’s degree from Adrian College, Michigan, her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Michigan University, and her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Entering academia in 2003, she serves on the faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
