Using Jing to Add Video Feedback in Your Online Courses

Audio and visual feedback is an effective way to communicate with online students. Audio/video comments can be used to introduce assignments, give feedback on assignments, and make general statements to the class. Using free screen capture with audio software (i.e. Jing), instructors can develop online video files that address various learning styles.

The presenter has been an educator for more than 25 years.
He is actively involved in conducting faculty professional
development workshops on online instruction and has
conducted numerous presentations. He is the coordinator of
the on-campus and online Master of Arts Teaching program.
The presenter is currently teaching mostly online courses and
has experience with Quality Matters reviews. The course
being demonstrated has received the QM seal of recognition.
His research interest is in using audio/video resources and
web tools in online learning.
