Implementing a Blended Methods Course: " It Was the Best/Worst of Times"
After being inspired at the Sloan-C Blended Conference in 2010, the presenter set about changing her F2F Math Methods class into a blended format. The presentation tells about the process at the University level, the program level and the classroom level. It incorporates both instructor and student feedback.
Jane Moore is an associate professor in the mathematics education department at National-Louis University. She serves as a consultant for several school districts in the Chicago area and in Albemarle County, VA for implementing a Standards-based math curriculum. She is particularly interested in mathematical communication via journals, especially electronic journals.
