Developing High-Quality Online Courses: A Mentoring Program’s Impact
If you’re looking to learn more about how to better prepare faculty to be successful instructors in the online environment (and beyond!), then this session is for you. This presentation will showcase a four-stage model for preparing and certifying higher education faculty to create and deliver high quality online instruction. The impact of the program on faculty, students, and the institution as a whole will also be discussed.

The presenters have been involved in the program being presented as a Director, Mentor, and Participant. The participants are an interdisciplinary research team conducting research on the program and its impacts on the university. Each has presented widely on this topic and others related to distance education.
