I have transformed the conventional introductory physics lecture class into a more interactive experience by using a “flipped” class structure. Before coming to class, students view my lecture online using Panopto (
http://www.panoptohighered.com/) and submit questions about this lecture using an online homework system. During class I answer a selection of these questions, have the students do problem-solving exercises, and ask them questions using i>clicker. I will discuss my experiences and results.
