Participants will be exposed to the techniques, theory, challenges, and practical considerations of "gamifying" their course and teaching in order to engage, motivate, and enhance student learning experiences.  The theory, design, and technology of such a move will be covered along with helpful readings and resources.

Jeff Kissinger leads the instructional design and media development team to create innovative learning solutions for the college's diverse populations. Jeff has worked in many arenas of education and training, including K-12, private industry, and higher education. Jeff’s passions are emerging instructional technologies, mobile learning pedagogy, social learning, open courseware, and increasing access to quality learning experiences through innovation, creativity, and research.
