Step 1- Check your computer

Make sure that your system is compatible with Wimba Classroom. You will need a computer with a Java enabled web-browser with java-script enabled and popup blockers turned off.

Wimba provides a unique Setup Wizard to help you make sure that you will be able to access Wimba Classroom without a problem. The Setup Wizard will make sure that you have popup blockers disabled, have java and java-script enabled on your browser, can accept java applets, can run text chat, and can hear and record audio.

Run the Wimba Setup Wizard at least the day before entering the Conference room.

Step 2- Join a Conference Session

There are two Wimba rooms that are used for the conference.  The sessions at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00 use Conference Room 1 at http://passhe2.wimba.com/launcher.cgi?room=Conference_Room_1_2012.     The sessions at 10:00 and 2:00 use Conference Room 2 at http://passhe2.wimba.com/launcher.cgi?room=Conference_Room_2_2012.

Tips:

• If using a speakerphone, please mute when not speaking.
• If using a speakerphone, be as close as possible to the phone when speaking.
• If using a telephone, mute computer speakers.
• If your office uses music-on-hold, don't put the call on hold.
