State System International Initiative

Did you know….

International study and travel experiences can be part of your State System education?

Study abroad programs range from one week to a full year?

Costs vary greatly and financial aid may be able to travel with you, so there’s no truth to the myth that you can’t afford to study abroad?

Program types:

 Faculty-Led Programs Abroad (Short-Term)

These courses are taught outside of the United States by State System faculty and most often take place during summer, winter session, or spring break. Programs are open to System and non-System students.

Study Abroad Programs (Longer-Term)

Students may also study at a university outside of the US for a semester, academic year, or summer. There are numerous opportunities available through State System universities for both exchange and direct enrollment programs. A limited number of programs are available to non-System students.
