Mr. Yudichak was elected to the Senate in November 2010. He is the Democratic Chair of the Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee and a member of the Aging and Youth, Appropriations, Local Government and Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness committees. He also is a member of the Senate Democratic Policy Committee and the Joint Legislative Conservation Committee. He previously served for 13 years in the House of Representatives.  He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in American Studies.​
