PASSHE Academy offers personal and professional development and wellness programs to employees of the Office of the Chancellor and the 14 PASSHE universities.

Who can participate in PASSHE Academy programs?
All PASSHE employees. However, some programs have prerequisites and some programs are only open to a selected group (i.e. academic chairs, new employees, etc.). Any prerequisites and program limitations are included in the Online Program Catalog.
Select programs (i.e. wellness) will be open to spouses and partners.
In what formats are programs offered?
Live/in-person programs are open to employees at all other PASSHE campuses and the Office of the Chancellor.
Live teleseminars and webinars can be viewed and/or listened to from the comfort and convenience of your work area or home.
Pre-recorded teleseminars and webinars are available 24/7 for viewing and listening, or download.
Different formats are available to accommodate participants’ learning styles, proximity of campuses and employees’ busy work and lifestyles.
How do I register for a program?
Registration is available online here. Once you register successfully, you will receive an email notification.
Is there a registration fee?
Most programs are free. Any programs with fees will include this information in the program description.
What if I’m not able to get away for live/in-person training?
PASSHE Academy was designed to offer programs using a variety of effective delivery methods to meet this very challenge. If you cannot make the facilitator led programs, there are webinars, teleseminars and email campaigns available 24/7 to watch, listen to and/or download.
How will employees be notified of new programs?
Email: You will be notified via email, periodically throughout the semester.
PASSHE Academy Website: You can visit passhe.edu/academy 24/7 to see updated program offerings.
Supervisors, managers and chairs are encouraged to periodically review offerings to make suggestions/assignments to stretch their employees’ skills and/or to address skill deficiencies noted in the performance review process.
Does my supervisor need to approve my participation?
All registrants are encouraged to communicate their interest to participate to their supervisors prior to registering; if the campus has additional policies or practices regarding pre-program approval, please follow those instructions.
PASSHE Academy's online registration form requires the employee's email address and their supervisor’s email address for registration confirmation, program reminder and participation confirmation. Supervisors’ emails are not required for wellness programs. Programs requiring travel must receive supervisory pre-approval (and any other internal campus approvals).
Supervisors, managers and chairs are responsible for encouraging their employees’ professional and personal development and at the same time, ensuring adequate staffing to meet and exceed departmental needs.
Does PASSHE Academy offer specialized training for my department or campus?

Who conducts the programs and training?
Facilitators are professionals and subject matter experts from within or outside PASSHE: consultants, attorneys, authors, professional trainers, university faculty and staff.
Facilitators must pass PASSHE Academy's rigorous qualifying standards before presenting.
