Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund
The Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund (PEBTF) was formed in
1988 to administer health benefits to employees of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and other participating entities. A Board of Trustees is responsible for the plan provisions
as well as their interpretation and applications. Here at PASSHE the PEBTF administers all medical, dental, vision, prescription, and hearing benefits for participating employee
bargaining units. The links provided below to the PEBTF website will provide more information about your coverage options.
Information about Flexible Spending Accounts can be found here.
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) – also known as Health Care Reform – requires that employer plans provide a uniform Summary of Benefits
Coverage (SBC) for all the group health plans which are subject to this reporting requirement. The SBC’s can be viewed
here.
