Long-Term Disability Insurance

Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance coverage is available to all permanent full-time employees (including temporary, full-time faculty with at least an academic year contract), or permanent, part-time employees (including temporary, part-time faculty with at least an academic year contract) who are scheduled to work every pay period for at least 50 percent of full-time.
  • 100% employee paid; $0.17 per $100 of monthly covered earnings (Option 1)
  • 100% employee paid; $0.21 per $100 of monthly covered earnings (Option 2)
Income protection equal up to 60% of gross annual base salary amount offset by retirement benefits, workers’ compensation, social security, and paid leave with a guarantee of 10% of long-term disability benefit amount or $100/month, whichever is greater.

Choice of:
  1. 180-day elimination period
  2. 90-day elimination period
  3. Cost of living adjustments
