Constituent Forums will be held with various groups to gather ideas and suggestions regarding the key attributes desired of the next PASSHE chancellor. These meetings will provide an opportunity for a number of constituent groups to share their thoughts and ideas about the Chancellor’s position profile, and the important attributes needed in order to fulfill this important role of moving PASSHE forward as a higher education leader.
PASSHE is facing a series of new realities, including differing views about federal and state funding, growing concerns about the total cost of attendance for students, shifting enrollment and demographic patterns, changing student expectations in the areas of teaching and learning and evolving higher education public policy. We want to add your “voice” to this dialogue as the Chancellor profile is being developed and the search for the next leader of PASSHE begins.
Groups invited to participate in the Forums are members of the Board of Governors, PASSHE university presidents, PASSHE executive and non-executive staff, union leadership, University Senate leaders, representatives of the PASSHE Foundation, members of the Pennsylvania Association of Councils of Trustees (PACT) and community business leaders.
