Skylar Walder

Skylar Walder, from Newfoundland NJ, is a Public Service major with a minor in Political Science at Shippensburg University. Skylar is an active member of the campus community where she has had numerous experiences in student life surrounding new student and family programs, student government, student union operations, athletics, fraternity & sorority life, multicultural affairs, housing & residence life, as well as many advisory boards. Over her time at Shippensburg, she has embraced getting involved on campus within student life as well as workforce development through internships and career readiness exposure.

Outside of her campus involvement and the board, she also serves on Governor Shapiro's Advisory Commission on Next Generation Engagement. She embraces the opportunities new experiences bring and lives to leave a legacy in every involvement she is in.
