The PSERS plan is available for employees previously enrolled in the PSERS plan.

PSERS Members Eligible for Retirement
If you are a PSERS member and are eligible to enroll in a retirement plan with the State System, you must select a retirement plan. You may elect the ARP or SERS plan via My First Days or if you wish to stay in the PSERS plan, you must complete a PSERS election form (obtain from campus benefit coordinator). Your election in a plan is final and binding and cannot be changed even if you terminate employment and return at another date.

PSERS Member Not Eligible for Retirement
If you are a PSERS member and not eligible to enroll in a retirement plan with the State System, you must make contributions to your PSERS account. To certify you are a current/previous PSERS member, log in to ESS and under My First Days, section 3, select "Member of SERS/PSERS" and choose PSERS as your previous/current retirement plan.  If you become eligible to elect a retirement plan at a future date, you will have the option to stay in the PSERS plan, elect the ARP, or elect SERS.
