System Success

Affordability & Talent Pipeline

Every year, around 3 million students in the U.S. graduate and enter the workforce. Employers highlight the importance of a strong network and relevant experience for a successful career transition. However, many students struggle to afford these opportunities. Commonwealth University addresses this with its Professional Experience Grants (PEG), which provided 150 students with access to valuable career experiences for the 2024-25 academic year.

Driving Pennsylvania's Future

Commonwealth University’s Professional Experience Grants (PEG) are designed to help students take advantage of opportunities that they may not otherwise be able to afford. To prevent their students from facing disadvantages, CU established PEGs to help cover some of the costs associated with career-launching experiences. For 150 students during the 2024-25 academic year, receiving a PEG made their experiences possible.
