Affordability & Talent Pipeline

KU Advance is the Extended Learning and Workforce Development division of Kutztown University, offering non-credit, career-focused training for learners at all levels. With over 4,000 courses and certificates, it provides programs in AI Academy (covering AI prompting, productivity, and customer service), Leadership and Management, Sales and Negotiation, Customer Service, and Entrepreneurship and Strategy.

Driving Pennsylvania's Future

Kutztown University and the education deans from across the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education hosted the inaugural UPrepared Summit, Oct. 19-21, at Kutztown University, to address the critical need to expand the teacher workforce in Pennsylvania. The UPrepared Summit provided a platform for engaging meaningful discussions, shared research-based practices, and collaborating on actionable plans to address the state's teacher shortage.

Caelan Brooks was presented as the 2021 winner of the Syed R. Ali-Zaidi Award for Academic Excellence. Brooks marks the second-straight award winner for Kutztown University and its Department of Physics.

The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center engages the university community and the public with seasonal cultural programming, historic buildings and exhibitions, a world-class research library collection, as well as conferences, online-educational resources, lectures, and classes in Pennsylvania Dutch language.

KU’s Rock Ensemble I has won awards from DownBeat Magazine for four-straight years.

The College of Business celebrates continued excellence with renewed accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). It is the first five-year renewal for the College since securing its initial accreditation in 2015.
