What happens if I die?
Your spouse or dependents should contact the Central Benefits Office at 717-720-4153
or email RetireeBenefitHelp@passhe.edu to provide us with the date of death and to receive information on the Survivor Spouse
program and COBRA.
What happens to the coverage of my dependents if I die?
Spouses have the option to continue current health care coverage indefinitely through
Pennsylvania Act 35 of 1991. In order to continue coverage, the spouse must pay 100%
of the premiums due. Other dependents will receive information to continue benefits
under COBRA.
What happens if one of my dependents die?
