The State System enrolls all permanent employees in our group life insurance program administered by MetLife at no cost to the employee. The amount of term life insurance is equal to the nearest $1,000 of basic annual salary, up to the applicable maximum.
The following insurance programs are available to all permanent full-time employees
(including temporary, full-time faculty with at least an academic year contract),
or permanent, part-time employees (including temporary, part-time faculty with at
least an academic year contract) who are scheduled to work every pay period for at
least 50 percent of full-time.
