Clery Act (20 U.S.C. §1092 (f))

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires universities to collect statistics on crimes on campus and within the geography covered by the law and to publish the information in an Annual Security Report. Moreover, the Clery Act mandates universities provide timely warnings to students and employees of reports of crimes that represent a threat to students and employees.

Campus SaVE (20 U.S.C. § 1092 (f))

Amendments to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), otherwise known as Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (Campus SaVE), identify additional sexual crimes that must be reported under the Clery Act.
